Dr. Seyoum Antonios is a distinguished Board Member of the Africa Christian Professionals Forum (ACPF) and a general surgeon practicing at Bethel Teaching General Hospital. With a career spanning several decades, Dr. Antonios has also served as an Assistant Professor at Bethel Medical College since 2009, where he contributes to the training and development of future medical professionals.
In 2007, Dr. Antonios, alongside his wife Saba, founded United for Life Ethiopia, a non-governmental organization dedicated to pro-life and pro-family advocacy. The organization operates not only within Ethiopia but across Africa, actively opposing policies from Western nations, UN agencies, and other international organizations that are perceived as detrimental to family values and ethical standards.
Dr. Antonios’s commitment to family and life issues is further exemplified by his role as the African Director for Family Watch International, a position he assumed in June 2019. In this role, he coordinates the organization’s activities throughout Africa, with a particular focus on engaging with the African Union and influencing policy discussions related to family and life issues.
Dr. Seyoum and his wife Saba are proud parents of three grown daughters. His work reflects a deep dedication to integrating Christian values into his professional and advocacy efforts, aiming to uphold and promote the sanctity of life and family across the continent.
